Road Bikes & Road Bike Insurance
Road bike insurance is not a legal requirement here in the UK, but there are multiple insurance covers that you might want to consider when thinking about the very real risks you face.
Bike theft is a really common issue in the U.K. If your road bike is secured with the required lock you'll be covered for theft. You should consider cover for aggravated theft too as it's sadly on the rise, especially for the more expensive road bikes. Most products offer damage cover, so you should be ok in that regard.
There are many more risks to consider when cycling, which sadly, some don't. You may be injured, or you could injure someone or damage their property such as their car. So, look for injury and third party liability cover too.
